I learned today that one of my Foster Boy's, Toby (aka Tink) has passed away today at the age of twelve years old.
Toby was eleven years old when I began fostering him last September. Right before Christmas last year, Santa Claus gave him the best gift of all...a furever Momma who adopted him! Just so Toby wouldn't be lonely, Toby's new Momma also adopted another YTNR senior
girl, Cyndi (aka Mandy) at the same time
Toby had been struggling with blindness & hearing loss plus, he had a history of bladder problems. Combined with all of that and a worn out spine & then developing pneumonia two weeks ago...his Momma & their Veterinarian made the decision to let Toby go home today to Rainbow
Bridge.
I am sad to know his stay was so short but, I am also so happy to know that I kept my commitment to him to find a Momma who would love him & care for him the way he deserved.
