Welcome to YT so great you got here before buying a Yorkie. If you ask a Yorkie Breeder about Liver shunts and they act clueless run don't walk from that breeder. Which I suspect you already know, but just re-inforcing what you do know.
Yorkies can be fragile just like Daschunds, but in their own way, perhaps different to Daschunds.
they can be hard to housebreak, and can be yappy, but they also can be friendly, a cuddle bug, or an energetic companion for you.
