Rosie has been not bad on the main floor and will run to the door when she needs to pee, if we miss her cue she will pee on the floor! but today she peed on the scale in the bathroom and didn't even ask to go out!
Lol, I'm not sure, but certain smells do trigger them. Let say someone stepped on the scale barefoot and that would leave a scent on the scale. Joey's breeder told us to just praise the success and ignore the mistakes. This method of training does take longer than punishing mistakes, however punishing mistakes can lead to other more serious problems including aggression, poop eating, submissive peeing. If Rosie is running to the door, ever, you have done a wonderful job, you might try keeping a pee dairy and see if you can get an idea of her schedule, and offer to open the door before she needs to go.
