There should be tons of grain-free food out there that you can try. Or food that has the 'high quality' grains - minus the wheat.
My Westie eats Blue Buffalo Wilderness and I don't think it contains wheat.
Some of the larger, high end food companies will send you little sample bags if you go to their websites.
