That's just silly. You can't control what your members do, but you can certainly control whether or they are allowed to remain members.
Don't misunderstand, I'm not trying to dictate what should or should be allowed--I'm not a member of either club and that is something for the governing bodies to decide. But 'we can't do anything about it' is a very weak excuse, IMO. Isn't that what member bylaws are for? Follow them or hit the road? I dunno...just saying.
Also, seems like every time some issue is mentioned, the go-to defense is 'well the YTCA does this or that.' So what? Clearly you gals don't agree with them, think they are corrupt...so why the constant need to draw parallels between yourselves and them? Seems like instead of trying to justify everything you do by pointing out that 'some YTCA members do that too,' you'd strive to be something else since there is such a difference of opinion and ax to grind with them.
I have yet to see where anyone has every stated that they agree 100% with every single thing that every single member of the YTCA does. I'm sure there are some bad seeds. That kind of thing seems unavoidable. But it seems like many are quick to jump up and condemn all of the YTCA over the actions of a few. Guess if that is the standard that is being used, then both clubs in question should be looking over their shoulders.
