And this thread has been educational for many reasons and I applaud all for keeping it civil.
As was stated by a few of us here, we have to start somewhere. I am sure that many have regardless of color. Not all exhibitors are willing to sell to even and ethical and honest person. I can tell you that for sure. And even some of the YTCA breeders and exhibitors on here have worked for years with one person to try to gain their trust to get a dog from them.
I admit that my dogs are not show quality. Not even that close to tell you the truth but I am aware of it and admit it. I can only go up from here, that is why I am getting a champion sired standard colored male to hopefully put in the ring. If he does become a champion he will be bred to my 2 parti girls and if I get even one show prospect, that carrier for sure will be in the ring. That is what I will do to improve my lines. All the ones that are not prospects will be petted out. It will take me years to improve my line but I admit it and accept it and that is all that matters. There are NO perfect dogs. Nor are there any perfect breeders or exhibitors. |

I never said any names, so I dont know why you are taking my posts personal. Sorry if I offended you.
I was mearly pointing out that if the parti breeders would actually take a look at their dogs(not all, but alot) I would have to say that you(that is not you personally) are breeding for color only. There are only a couple that seem to be are serious about conformation. As I said in one post, I would spay/neuter most of what I saw based on conformation. That would be for the betterment of the breed. Which is what I assumed these parti clubs were about. But I guess the clubs arent about that after all.
I dont hate all the parti breeders at all. I dont know where you get that idea. But(that word again) I dont agree with your(not you personally) breeding ethics and your(not you personally)idea of showing carriers.
And, by the way, I do cull my litters. I place them as pets.
