But you say you are making a gift. Maybe you should bring it her before the wedding so she an really enjoy the time you took to make it. After the wedding all they want to do is go on their honeymoon. Maybe she won't really get a good chance to look at it and enjoy it.
Just a thought, it's the right time when you give it to her not protocol you know.
