It is possible that he had enough vaccine to aquire immunity. Titers will need to be done to determine this. It all depends on when the immunity from his Mom actually left his system. Definitely check what vaccine he was given today... if they tried to give him Lepto or Corona. Lepto is known to cause these kinds of reactions in small breed dogs. Thank God your vet was able to help him. Keeping him in my prayers... Let us known what she says....

Kind of the same thing when people (or dogs) are allergic to bee stings.... maybe get a script for an Epi-pen when you go back...
