I like it because it is sturdy, holds both of my Yorkies (6 pounds each), is high enough for them to see outside the window, and keeps them safe (this particular model is intended for 2 small dogs and comes with 2 harnesses).

I agree. It is really just what you like best. I am not familiar with a sherpa.
