The CYTC is not a "policing body," the club is set up as a safe and friendly place for owners of all yorkies to come to for education on color genetics; a place to show off photos of their dogs and pups, and a place to meet new people and network. We've posted standards, and we've discourage breeding the breeding of blue born yorkies and sizes outside of the standard. As YTCA members have seen with their own club members, not all abide by the written standards and rules. |
Thanks for expanding on the Nikko dogs.
You are perfectly free to run your club in any way you see fit. My earlier mention was not meant to disparage your club, only to make you aware of something that is linked from your club's site. But, from reading your code of ethics (#7), that would seem to be a violation that you might like to be aware of, hence the 'heads up'.
