oh thanks for your help I did research into this before embarking on becoming a breeder and thought I had covered every possibility and I do know my yorkie and the breed pretty well but was surprised when she re-acted in a strange way she would howl and cry and run round the room looking for her baby which i thought was reasonable but then she wouldn't tend to the others unless i pushed her it got so bad that I had to lock her into her crate for an hour or so watching from a distance and kept to room quiet and she did settle for a while then started again later. however she seems to be a lot calmer and is happier looking after the babies. it was a scarery moment.
