It was about 8-9 months till I could say that Sophie had it down pat. Meaning she would go to the door and bark to be left out.
My problem though was that my DD worked part-time back then. So she would go out to pee every 2-3 hours, simply cause she could. She never learned to hold it.
So it was a long time before she slept the night without having to get up. And even now she will get up somewhere around 3:00 AM at least 1 night a week and she's nearly two years old.
