Pippin was a climber. We have one of the wire fold-up exercise pens and he would pull the walls inward and then scale up by putting his feet on both sides. We ended up having to get a top for the pen. Not only did it cover the top to discourage the climbing, but it hooked on so he could no longer pull the pen inward. He was soooo smart!
Lyric has been using the pen in a rectangular shape (not square like when we used it with Pippin) and she hasn't gotten out yet. She also can't pull it inward like he could because it's wedged between our dining room table and a hutch. Hoping she doesn't figure out a way to get out because the top only works if the exercise pen is in a square shape, and we have no where to put it in our house!
