The dog park is called, Central Bark Dog Park. Honestly, if your dog hasn't been socialized to other dogs, don't go there. Wait till he's older. Most dogs are very well behaved, but every once in a while there is one that raises hell. Your baby is better off going when he's a little older, and a little bigger.
I highly recommend the park on Harvard and Barranca for a nice afternoon stroll. If you go after 6 pm, there will be a lot of people walking their dogs. Including some of Kaji's old friends.
There are 2 brussels griffon, Monkeyin and Biggie Shorty that are hilarious! They loved playing with Kaji and Kaji loved playing with them. They were so gentle and fisky.
They also have an enclosed baseball diamond. If you go mid-week, in the middle of the day, you can get that all to yourself. My friend and I use to meet up there and have the pups off leash playing fetch. They're completely safe in there. I have some pics of them romping around in the baseball field.
