Pico the Mellow Maltese has used the lookout seat and strap without a problem for 8 years but when I put Tank the Yorkshire Terror in it he twisted around until the strap was tightly wound around his leg. I panicked because it was soooo tight! I had to cut it to get it off quickly because it had been there for several minutes before I noticed and I was afraid it would damage his leg.
Now I'm looking for a different restraint for Tank.
Also, I love the Lookout but I recommend removing it from your car when not in use because the Texas sun rotted the nylon cover.
