And like others have stated - there are some that you can not tell are bad, so you need to go to their home and check things out to make sure they are reputable. You should get a sence they are reputable or not once you are there. Go with your gut feeling. And if the breeder says - I can meet you somewhere and save you some driving time - run away. This is a big waringing sign. They just do not want you to see their home and the dogs.

Lorraine - Boy, when you turn away people they do get mad, don't they?? I have had this happened and what a scene usually. They yell at me. One girl was totally understanding that she was not ready.
Yes, yes, yes. Avoid breeders such as this, that's a huge red flag!
