 Disney (Izzie) Was Spayed...what a week
So last Monday Disney was spayed and it has been a battle. first she wouldn't touch the pain meds, then she would not go potty at all...so after calling the vet he gives her an antibiotic on saturday, well it seemed to work but then she started spotting blood. so back to the vet we went and she has a uti, which they said was normal and to keep giving her the antibiotic. finally today she is acting back to normal!! woo hoo..and i am sooo glad we never have to do this again. however she lost a whole pound after being spayed, not eating and the whole uti mess. so back to square one on the weight issue. and now i can get some sleep at night and not worry about her so much!! |
