Usually I can get them to tell me enough on the phone whether or not it would be the right possibility. I usually will tell them if their scenario won't work that this is not the right puppy for them and tell them why.
In most cases, I tell them things they had not thought of and realize not the right breed or time for them. On occasion they yell anyway, LOL. |
Yes, the one I had yell at me was on email and he was yelling. All caps and some bad words. I tried to be nice about it, but he thought I was judging him and I was. I do a screening and reference check before they come to the house. He just felt I should sell him the puppy since he was wanting it. There is more to it than that. He thought it was only his decision whether or not he got the pup. I felt he probbaly would have kept the pup outside too and that is not an option. He even stated, "Well, it is just a dog!"
