I had the bully stick breath problem for awhile too - until I switched brands. The bully sticks sold at petsmart and petco always smelled terrible and made my dog's breath terrible too. I'd suggest looking into other brands of bully sticks. I found a great local pet store and they sell better quality bully sticks that actually don't smell bad, and my pup loves them just as much as the stinky ones
