I just bought a tiny yorkie male that is 6 and a half months old and weighs less than 1.5 lbs. Today I noticed his testicles have not yet dropped. I don't even see or feel anything down there, a sack, nothing at all. This worries me because I know it can cause cancer later on in his life. I called the breeder and she told me they would take a little longer to drop because he is so tiny. She also told me to not let the vet talk me into getting him neutered because he most likely will die under amnestesia because he is just too tiny and she had a similar experience with trying to get a small boy fixed.

I just got him the other day so I am going to the vet tomorrow to do a full checkup, but I would appreciate somebody who has advise or maybe been in the same situation as me with a really tiny yorkie to ease my mind until then. Is it normal to not even have a sack visible? Do the little ones take longer to drop? Thanks.
