Some clinics get grants or are non-prof, etc. If not, then I just don't see how they can do preop blood work, iv, iso or sevo, safe induction drugs, monitoring, hospital stay, pain meds or antibiotics, extractions, and a cleaning for so cheap. And the techs have to be paid. So, is blood work being skipped or is an alternate anesthesia being used? That's what I'd have to be asking if I was quoted anything below maybe $200-$300 for a cleaning. |
This is a really good point...and it makes me think/consider. I mean, where/how is the huge cost savings going to effect the quality of care? Something has to give....and I sure don't want it to be my baby's care. If there are grants/non-prof subsidies, fabulous....but if not, I'd really want to know what is covered - and I'd want to make sure everything was covered that I'd expected (esp. in terms of anesthesia and monitoring etc).
