I agree that it depends on which region of the country you live in. Many of the vets in the state of Alabama are not out to just take your money. For the most part they are straight up honest. With that said, there is one vet in the town we live in. He is more expensive on everything than other vets within a 50 miles radius. I don't believe him being expensive makes him a better vet. In fact, he works M-F 8-5...you can not call him after 5 for emergencies and he will not come in on the weekend. Our favorite vet is 50 miles away. There are 3 vets in that clinic/hospital and each have their own area of interest and specialty. They are the cheapest!!!! They also pull most of the areas business. With that said, I apologize for "hacking" your thread!
