Personally, I think it's adorable, but I did read somewhere that it could be a sign of dominance. I also found this article that says if could be either dominance or submission:

Maybe some of his other behaviors could help you figure it out (if he tends to display other acts of either dominance or submission). If not, maybe it's just his way of showing how much he LOVES his mommy and daddy!
