I am sorry to hear about your loss and commend you for looking into Rescue. My oldest girl is 14 years old and suffers from weekly seizures and has been blind for about 5 years. When I look at Rescue sites and see that people abandon dogs such as mine my heart breaks. My other yorkie is 10 years old and going strong. I will always have 2 yorkies and I am considering one of those to always be a rescue dog like my sweet Abby.
