My girl won't go on the pee pad no matter what. She will hold it ...and hold it... and hold it...until I take her outside or when she decides to pee on the carpet.

My boy does either...he was pee pad trained as a pup so he goes on command...but only on the pee pad. On the grass...he takes his sweet *** time ...I give him about 10 minutes and it's back inside the apartment until the next 30 minutes have passed and we try again.

I think training on both is possible....since my boy does it fine.

Oh and by the way, when we were at my parents' .....he totally pottied on their kitchen floor, on their bed....both my dogs were just horrible at my parents....so they slept in their kennels at night since I didn't want to leave a big mess in the guest room.
