Ruger had the zoomies, too. Since I live in a two-story place, it was up and down the stairs, up and down, up and down.
He still like to go to the park and run really fast around the perimeter of the park, or around other dogs.
Anyway, try giving him something to chew on that he really likes. Ruger loves cow ears, and one will keep him occupied for a long time.
