Darling!!!! Bon, this is a great shallow DOF example! Are you at 1.8-2.2 or so here? See how your point of focus must be the eye or, even the area to the L of the eye (where fur is draping down). And then, to the R of the eye onward, blur....nice! Very shallow depth of field there. That's why it's so tough using 1.8-ish for these moving creatures...but I *love* the wide open apertures.
