Taking one of my girls in to the vet at 2:45 today. Has all the symptoms of pancreatitis. She is my overweight 4 pounder(the one on the right in the avatar) that is now down to 3.75 pounds in 2 days. Started innocently but after 24 hours of pedialyte I tried boiled chicken and rice and after an hour she vomited it up. Waited another 4 hours and tried again with same results.... so off the vet for the 3 time in a week. Had a parvo scare last week after bringing in a pup that had diarrhea (neg worms, neg coccidia, neg giardia, and neg snap parvo test) ended up diagnosed as stress colitis.
When ever I am not looking people tend to feed her the table scraps because she is a naughty beggar. If she has pancreatitis there will be a new Momma here and I will tear heads off of my adult skinkids if they so much as give her one little lick of anything!!! I have lit into them already but am partly to blame cause I keep frozen baggies of chicken breast for them at all times and pass it out twice a day. Probably where the begging started but has definately blossumed since they have all come home from college for the summer....
