I did see the thread that the OP is talking about and it upset me too. I feel real bad about how that thread turned out.
A newbie came on to ask a question and then WHAM!
Its unfortunate how some continue to pile on a person after a point has been made. While I don't disagree with the message that was being delivered - I disagree how it was delivered. Call it passion, call it a hot-button issue, call it whatever. Bottom line we should show a little more understanding and compassion to our younger and newer members.
