Thank you everyone, so much, from the bottom of my heart. I don't feel like I'm anyone special, or that I've done anything out of the ordinary. Layla has brought so much to my life and I can't give up on her just because she needs attention. I have needed her so many times before, and she never gave up on me!
Last night before bed, she was dragging between two area rugs, and on about 1 ft of ceramic tile between them, she lifted her butt end up about an inch for one step. I don't know if her leg actually pushed up, or if it just got caught underneath and flipped out behind her, but I did see her raise up with a foot under her and it looked as if she was trying to walk.
I am also still 95% sure she knows when she has to poop. She has been crying at all times of the day and when I take her out to poop, she's full. Sometimes so full that she lets it go before we get to the pad! And sometimes it's right there but I express it to make it go faster. So I think she knows when it's coming. Her vet will disagree, but who cares!
She's back at rehab today since her vet is back from holidays. I'm sure she's having fun!
