I know this may sound a little OCD
but I can't help it.
Lulu came home a week ago. I weighed her on my postage scale & she weighed 2 lbs 3 oz...went to the vet the next day & she weighed the same thing, so I'm sure my scales are pretty accurate. Well, I weighed her today on my scale & she weighed 2 lbs 2 oz. I'm not freaking out, yet, as she is eating very well & is acting normal. I'm just curious if this is normal...and what is the weekly average that yorkies gain around this age. She will be 15 weeks tomorrow.
Oh, one more thing...at her 13 week vet visit (with breeder's vet) she weighed 1.9 lbs so she went from 1.9 lbs (which I think is around 1 lb 14 oz, right?) to 2 lbs 3 oz in one week. So, maybe she had a growth spurt that week & that's why she hasn't gained this week? I don't know...I just want to make sure my baby is doing okay. She seems wonderful & I wouldn't even be worried if I hadn't weighed her "just to see".
