Welcome to YT and congratulations on your new pup.
I have had my pup for 3 weeks now and we also have an older cross breed who is 12 years old.
My older dog is spoilt rotton too and wasnt very happy when we first brought the pup home.
At first she wouldnt even sit in the same room as her but she is slowly coming round to the idea.
Now she will sit next to her and has even let the pup climb on her a couple of times, some days are better then others though.. she has never snapped at the pup but some days she just cant be bothered and walks away from her.
They will come round in time dont worry.
I think its a good idea that you already have a dog because the pup can learn from the other dog, Poppy already copies off Jess so hopefully Jess will teach her alot of things when shes older.
