Sunday morning, we got a phone call from a good friend of ours who was Kelli's groomer as well. It seems she found us a little girl.
She's eight weeks old, and cute as a button. We're picking her up on Wednesday. Something about this just feels so right, I don't want to wait. She did offer us a chance at a different litter that she's having the second week in January, but we've already seen this little one and just fallen in love with her. We really had every intention of waiting until after the holidays....but....I just can't explain how this fell in our lap and how it feels right now.
I'm a little nervous, mainly because I just want to be the best furbaby parent possible, it's almost as if I've never had pets before, lol. Also because this'll be the first puppy that we've had in quite some time, and the first yorkie puppy ever. The breeder is a very sweet lady, she said the kindest thing to us, "I feel so much better to know that she will be going to such a loving home, that brings such a peace to my heart."
And, we're naming her Bella.
