Well, they really are cute to look at, but most have retained the strong terrier traits. I can't speak for all, of course, but mine could never have been classified as prissy (except in their desire for cleanliness) or sophisticated.

Mine have loved being outside exploring the world. They sometimes can be very difficult to housebreak. That is made easier for someone who is home with them all of the time. I would strongly suggest that you learn about the breed first to determine if that is the dog for you. You might want to acquaint yourself with the sick and injured threads and the in memory threads, as well as the training threads, to learn about their idiosyncracies.
