I've taken Kimbo into stores before when he was smaller. He was in a dog carrier that looked like a purse and nobody noticed. I saw nothing wrong with it.
I do, however, know a woman who is extremely allergic to cats and she told me that she doesn't appreciate it when people bring any type of pets into stores, restaraunts, ect. because it's not safe for those with severe allergies. (By severe, I mean she has to carry an Epipen everywhere with her)
I did stop taking Kimbo into stores with me, but only because he started barking at people and demanding that they pet him and let him lick them. lol, he thinks everyone is there to see him!
