You are right to err on the side of caution. In particular if you don't know doggie body language and are not quick with your reactions. It's so good that your hubby knows.
Because this way Fizz can get safe socialization with all types of dogs, and hubby will know to say let's go south instead of meet up with a particular dog.
I have two large dogs at home along with my YOrkie so my problem is Razz thinks every big dog is like his pack mates. No Fear, he'll run up a latch onto beards if I'd let him.
