We met the mother of our puppy along with the siblings, and saw pictures of the father. He was in Canada as a stud to another breeder. He's won many awards. Beautiful dog. We thought this was a wonderful program for Yorkies. Very loving and great care given to each dog. Let me know your thoughts on this. We were also told that our puppy will remain black and tan along with the soft coat. She will always look like a puppy. She was so well behaved, played with the other dogs, just so precious! Now we're trying to find the right name for her. Thanks so much for your time!

That makes more sense. She's older so the breeder can probably tell her coat color and what kind of coat she'll have. She sounds like an awesome breeder.
The only thing that does concern me a teeny, tiny bit is spaying her before she even reaches 2 lbs. I do respect the breeder for thinking of her first and wanting to make sure she is spayed before going to her new forever home. As a breeder, you never know when someone will look at a puppy as small as this one and think $$$$$$. I'm not saying you would, but I understand the breeder's concern. Let us know when she's going in for her spay so we could send YT prayers her way.
