How did the vet visit go? It is not unusual for the top teats to not have much milk. They will get hard in the beginning because they are not being used and as the momma's body adjusts to how much milk to produce, depending on how much the pups are nursing, the teats will normally go down. The nursing mommas always need to be watch closely because sometimes the mammary gland get stopped up and if left untreated it can lead to mastitis.
How many pups is your girl nursing?
