Default Doesn't hurt to get a second opinion!

How long have you been with this vet, other pets previously seen? Just thinking that if your gut tells you there is more too it or something you shouldn't ignore that. Get another opinion from a reputable vet in your area. A few years ago we took our toy fox terrier to the vet as she was sick and failing rapidly and the vet we went to was new to the practice, he couldn't diagnose was just giving us "band-aid" type fixes. We knew there was more and she was going down hill rapidly so we went to another recommended vet and she was diagnosed with Addison's disease. It is hard to diagnose and we were fortunate...my point is I felt that we weren't getting to the real problem and he couldn't figure it out and rather than saying so was "troubleshooting". Research for yourself possibilities online that you could suggest if you are confident in your current vet but if you aren't, go to another vet! Good Luck
