The disposable/washable pads can only be used with the Reg or Large size pup-head. They will not fit the small one.

Everyone has a different training method. The pup-head simulates grass and may help when he's outside on real grass. A lot of people use washable pads but often dogs confuse area rugs for pads.

You have to pick what's going to work best for you and your situation.
