Oh I understand we have a wide open space also BUT know I can't run that fast. The Westie got out last week and we keep thinking she will prove herself again. I always take treats but know when Kismets opens it up she is far gone and heading towards the pond, chasing the geese rabbits and anything else that crosses her path. JUST when you think she will allow you to get her she scats & runs and you end up on the ground. Now she darts through a ditch, chasing a barn cat, running in 2 circles tight letting me know there is no way no how I can do it. About the time I yell, I am cancelling her safely home and quit she runs back to the deck..... SO Mia is not allowed that level of freedom.... I just can't go wicked fast on 2 vs 4 If only I were smart to tell her good luck sooner, she always comes when I stop chasing. |
