I recently met a rescue springer and he was a very sweet old guy. I would have adopted him if he wasn't reserved for another home.

Now, I am looking into getting a springer puppy from a reputable breeder. I am meeting her and one of her puppies at dog training tomorrow. She is expecting two litters in September, so I may get a puppy by November/December.

If it's in December, do you think I should leave the puppy at the breeder's over the holidays? I don't know what our plans are yet, but last year I boarded my yorkies at a great lady's house. Obviously, if I get the puppy, I won't board the dogs and I'll just have to organize something where they can be with me.

I'd appreciate any advice.
