The other choice is find a mentor and learn and then go do.
There are some wonderful breeders that are willling to show you the ropes if you give them a hand when things get crasy and they can when there are pups on the ground.

Then you have a chance to learn if you think you can manage it and what to do.
Trust me learning under fire is not fun...been there done that.
