 Eating snails and worms
When my puppy goes outside, he eats whatever he can find, especially snails, worms, and bugs. I then switched to taking him outside on a leash/harness but he still manages to eat what he is not supposed to. He's like a little vacuum and sniffs around so I don't always catch him when he put something in his mouth. I always have to pry his mouth open to get the stuff out. How do I stop this? I already tug on the leash each time, pull him away, and tell him "no"! I would feel bad if I have to put a muzzle on him to train. What should I do? He gets diarrhea whenever he eats things like this and I really need to stop this behavior. Help! |
