My babies do this too. In fact last week my husband was home for lunch and he made him 2 hotdogs with mustard on them when he went into the living room to eat he bent over to pick up one of the girls toys so that he could throw it to distract them from his food they jumped up and knocked his hotdogs over and now I have a HUGE mustard stain right in the middle of my living room floor. Thank goodness I am getting hardwood floors for Christmas!!!
Anyways to answer your question we usually put our girls in our bedroom while we eat.
