Yes you have started this bad behavior. I did the same thing. But I broke KimMee of this by never giving her food or treats in the kitchen or where we eat. If I happen to give her something we have for dinner, it is in her bowl. Your dog is young and you can break this habit. It is just the typical Pavlov's theory of conditioning and response. Maybe you should feed her at the same time you eat or not let her be in the room when you eat dinner. I am sure there are many different ways to break her of this. BUT you have to be FIRM. Good luck |
