It is my understand that the Parti color cannot be shown but lets just say they were. How would you stand on the use of Peroxide to whiten a Parti's color? From what I understand that is what the division of the Traditional and Parti Yorkie breeders is~correct? So what if at some point the Parti was allowed in the show ring. Would you have an issue with Peroxide use to achieve that pristine white coat? |
I think it's truly a mute point since the parti cannot be shown, but I'll bite....no, I would NEVER put peroxide on an animal. I'm surprised that you don't find it questionable that a show breeder applies a dye in hopes of winning a ribbon.
I guess I don't get it....why some are defending the practice of dyeing a coat in order to do well in a dog show?
