Those are great lenses, and I, too, love my primes. Have you been using your Sigma more? I like that focal length. I deliberated for such a long time about getting the Sigma 50mm 1.4 instead of the Nikon 50mm 1.4g AF-S. The Sigma has nicer bokeh than the Nikon, but it is so large and heavy, and it defeated one of the reasons why I wanted to have a prime at that focal length. I was also worried about the quality control of the Sigmas. I ended up going with the Nikon, but I'm still not sure I made the right decision. I definitely would consider buying a Sigma, because when they are good, they're great. I have considered getting your Sigma, because I've heard great things about it if you get a good copy. The new Nikon 35mm 1.8g is really nice, and the price is great. I've heard it can be used on a full frame camera with little or no vignetting, but it really is a DX lens. I think in the future, if I do get another camera, I probably will go full frame, though, so I hesitate to buy any more DX lenses. I love my Nikon D300, so I don't see any reason why I would want to get a new camera anytime soon, but I'm just looking ahead. All of my lenses, except for the Nikon 18-200 lens, are full frame lenses. I've gotten them slowly over the years, and I've used Nikons for about 20 years. They work fine on my camera, but the focal lengths are really optimized on a full frame camera. The full frame cameras also get better bokeh, so that's the only reason why I would consider getting one in the distant future. I am so thrilled with my camera, so I think it would be a waste of money now to change. I think when I do spend more money on photography, I'd prefer to get a good tripod or maybe another wider prime.

Since you love using primes, have you considered Nikon's new 85mm prime? It's supposed to be really nice, and it's a macro lens, which is really fun to use. It is a DX lens, so it's not as heavy as the FX lenses. The Nikon 85mm 1.8 is also a nice lens, and it's reasonably priced, but it's not a macro. I'd love to get the Nikon 85mm 1.4 lens, the cream machine, but I don't want to spend that much money right now. I also have the Nikon 105mm 2.8 macro, which I love, and I wonder if the focal lens is too close. Tamron also has a 90 mm 2.8 macro that is very reasonably priced, and I have heard great things about that on the Nikon board of fredmiranda.com. There are many pros there and very serious photo enthusiasts, so it's a source of great information. I never posted there, but I always enjoyed reading there. The photographs on some of the boards (People, Landscape, Nature, Macro, Nikon) are absolutely amazing. Since I found Yorkie Talk last summer, I prefer to spend my free time here, but I occasionally check back for a source of inspiration and to keep up with the Nikon lenses.

If you ever have a chance, check this very long thread for inspiration. If you go back to the beginning, the photos are probably better, but not all of them are available, since it started a long time ago.
