Thank you for the responses so far. Those were my exact thoughts--I'd feel safer having him home, knowing that at least SOMEONE is watching him and if any issues arise I can find him proper medical attention asap.
But yeah, I really wonder why they suggest keeping pets overnight when no one is staying with them.
