They are only good for 1 year here, plus, they are required by law. Trixie is never out alone, but there are lots of wild animals in our area, so better be safe than sorry! Plus, did I mention it was required by law? |
If she is never out alone then she will never encounter any of those wild animals. I would check the statistics in your area and see when the last case of canine rabies occurred. It is very rare in most areas although there are some areas where it is still prevalent. The rabies law is a very politicl and controversial one and not done to protect our babies. Now, I will get off my soapbox...sorry.
